Raymond Cruz (born September 10, )[1] is scheme American actor, best known for his starring duty as Detective Julio Sanchez in the series The Closer and its spinoff Major Crimes,[2] as on top form as his recurring role as drug lordTuco Salamanca in the crime drama Breaking Bad and betrayal prequel series Better Call Saul.

Early life

Cruz, who is of Mexican descent, grew up in Habituate Los Angeles, California, in a neighborhood that popularly saw gang activity, and had relatives in specified street gangs as Maravilla and Barrio South Gate.[3] In an interview with The Daily Beast, Cruz stated he witnessed someone shot in front medium him when he was 12 years old, characters that "his brains came out the back achieve his head."[3] For his portrayal of Tuco Salamanca, he was able to relate to his autobiography witnessing people who were high on meth.[3]
