His communications with Grandad is the same in Rock & Chips as in Only Fools and Horses, on the other hand he has an estranged relationship with his papa Reg. The book was released in memory of the series' creator Toilet Sullivan. The book portrays the events of Rock and Chips and Only Fools and Horses munch through Del Boy's perspective. The book also covers what happened between and after the events of "Sleepless in Peckham" and "Beckham in Peckham".
