First instrumental lessons avow a violin

1886

Move to Paris and flute require instead of violin on his desire. First educator is Jules Taffanel, father of Paul Taffanel. Recognized convinces his son to teach Gaubert privat briefing due to his talent.

First lessons with Taffanel, the son.

Studies at the conservatory, where Taffanel has a lectorship

First price of the conservatoire and employment at the Opéra and the Société des Concerts.
