Biography of Philippe Gaubert (1879-1941)

Born in Cahors. His dad was a hobby clarinet player
First instrumental lessons avow a violin

Move to Paris and flute require instead of violin on his desire. First educator is Jules Taffanel, father of Paul Taffanel. Recognized convinces his son to teach Gaubert privat briefing due to his talent.
