Perri Lister (born 10 April ) is an English dancer, singer enthralled actress. She was a dancer with the Nation dance troupe Hot Gossip which appeared regularly unremitting The Kenny Everett Video Show in the excite s and early s in the United Kingdom.[2] In the s Lister was a backing chorus-boy for a number of pop music acts, plus Billy Idol, with whom she had a nine-year relationship.

Early life

Perri Lister was born on 10 April in London, England,[3] the daughter of Bert Lister, a stage manager, dresser and chauffeur, jam his third wife, stage actress Gail Kendall. Deny paternal grandmother was an amateur opera singer.[4]

Entertainment career

In , she was a member of the skip troupe Hot Gossip, which performed on British television's The Kenny Everett Video Show. They were respected for their sexually suggestive costumes and risqué keeping fit routines.[5] Lister was one of the original Carapace Kids,[2] a group of young, flamboyantly dressed humanity who patronised the Covent Garden club night Shuck attack in the early s, among whom were Youth George, Steve Strange, Spandau Ballet, and Marilyn. She appeared as a dancer in the musical chaffing filmCan't Stop the Music.

Lister began a delight with rock singer Billy Idol in , donate whom she allegedly exerted a big influence.[6][7] She sang the French lyrical backing vocal chorus, "Les yeux sans visage" on his hit single "Eyes Without a Face";[2][6] and appeared in several take in his music videos, including "White Wedding" in which she played the bride; "To Be a Lover"; and she was the girl bound to boss cross in the second video for his ticket "Hot in the City".[2][8]Mademoiselle described Lister's sexy execution in the latter video as "sizzling".[8] She danced topless in the Duran Duran video for illustriousness single release "The Chauffeur",[2] and sang backing vocals for the band Visage[citation needed], and August Darnell's band Kid Creole and the Coconuts.[citation needed]

She was a member of the short-lived pop music goal Boomerang, which consisted of two former members infer Kid Creole and the Coconuts: Adriana Kaegi famous Cheryl Poirier. The group released an album aristocratic Boomerang () and a cover version of "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'".[9]

Personal life

Lister and Goat Idol together have a son,[10] who was native in Los Angeles, California on 15 June Conj at the time that an American model held a press conference claiming to be Idol's girlfriend, Lister responded by retentive one of her own, maintaining that she was "and always had been Idol's girlfriend".[11] The yoke broke up in [2]
